Bio

Joni Cuquet has had a life long career in the field of arts. A native of Northern California, as early as grade school, Joni was in charge of designing sets, producing and directing school plays.  She acquired a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architectural Design from the University of California, Davis, which eventually led her to the technical art of television production on Network Television in San Francisco through extensive training at Kodak in New York.  After successfully producing, writing and directing 96 television shows on ABC, CBS and NBC, earning a 13.7/17 share rating, Joni decided to move to Southern California to pursue a path as a filmmaker.

For over a decade, Joni has participated in the filmmaking process by working for Sony Pictures Entertainment, Sony Pictures Imageworks, Columbia TriStar Pictures, Screengems, Game Show Networks, Twentieth Century Fox, Island Pictures, Skouras Pictures and Paramont Pictures, in areas of producing, Business and Legal Affairs, programming, finance, human resources, field publicity, special effects and post production management on nearly 30 films.  Adding to her list of achievements, she was a Vice President of Multimedia Production in publishing for Knowledge Exchange, a Warner Books/Little, Brown & Company distribution.

After her studio experience and winning awards for video production in Los Angeles and Memphis for the Special Olympics and the California Cosmotology Association; along with winning an award for a book-on-tape, "The Federal Express Story", Joni was ready to take the challenge and create her own independent production and consulting company. She acquired JQ Media, located in Los Angeles, California, in 2002, where she works as a producer, writer and literary consultant.
